The Idaho Bureau of Emergency Medical Services (EMS) & Preparedness, under the direction of the Idaho state legislature, has organized a series of EMS town hall meetings across the state. Meetings similar to this one were held in 2012 and were poorly attended so little action was taken. In 2018 sixteen town hall meetings have been organized statewide beginning in April and ending in June.
